Soudal Singapore product

Soudabond Easy

A ready-to-use polyurethane adhesive foam for efficient bonding of compatible insulation panels, plasterboard and non-load-bearing interior blocks without mixing powder mortar.

Product description

Cleaner panel and block bonding

Soudabond Easy replaces mixing for suitable insulation panels, plasterboard and non-load-bearing interior blockwork. Its foam structure can bridge small surface irregularities while allowing work to continue sooner than many mortar-based methods.

Application essentials

Wear eye protection and gloves, ventilate, shake the can, prepare and lightly moisten suitable surfaces, apply the documented bead pattern, wait for tack and press firmly. For structural or fire-rated fixing, use it as part of a design that specifically documents the product.

Preparation and application

Follow the product instructions step by step.

Use the guidance and documents for your chosen product. Contact us if the English TDS or SDS you need is not listed below.

  1. 01

Read the current SDS, ventilate the work area and wear the specified gloves and eye protection before using an aerosol PU foam.

  2. 02

Ensure the surfaces are stable and free from dust and grease. Where appropriate for the selected foam, a light water mist can support moisture curing.

  3. 03

Shake the can thoroughly, connect the correct straw or foam gun, and dispense with the can in the orientation shown in the instructions.

  4. 04

Fill only part of the cavity so the foam can expand. For deep gaps, work in layers and follow the product guidance for moistening between layers.

  5. 05

Remove fresh foam with the specified cleaner. Once cured, trim mechanically and protect exposed foam from sunlight and weather.

For the best result

Match the product to the materials and application.

These practical points help you achieve a reliable result.

  • Use mechanical fixings wherever the assembly design calls for them.
  • Finish cured foam with a suitable sealant, coating or building finish for UV and weather protection.
  • For fire-resistant work, reproduce the documented joint or penetration configuration and supporting materials.
  • For the best result, follow the current technical and safety information for the selected product.
  • For unfamiliar materials, coatings or site conditions, test adhesion and compatibility on the prepared surface first.
