Choose sealants by joint and exposure

Sealants for everyday joints, weather exposure and specialist areas.

The Singapore range includes silicones, hybrid polymers, water-swelling products and rigid high-temperature seals. Choose the sealant that matches the joint materials, movement, dimensions and exposure.

Product selection

Start with the job, then choose within the family.

A good seal starts with clean, prepared surfaces and a product that can handle the joint’s movement and surroundings. Joint size, backing material and primer can matter just as much as the sealant itself.

This focused range covers glazing, food-area and sanitary work, cleanrooms, aquariums, passive-fire systems, construction joints and high-temperature static seals. Each product page includes the relevant technical information and current documents for specialist uses.

Choose by application

Compare the requirements for each job.

01

General construction and glazing

Start with the way the sealant cures, how much the joint moves, the weather exposure and material compatibility.

02

Controlled and hygienic areas

Choose a food-area, sanitary or cleanroom product with documentation for the intended environment.

03

Passive fire protection

Choose a complete tested system, then follow its requirements for the wall or floor, joint size and backing.

04

Heat-exposed static joints

Rigid high-temperature pastes are different from flexible movement-joint sealants.

Sealants

Silirub 2/S

A low-modulus neutral-cure sanitary silicone for high-humidity joints, glazing and compatible building materials. It contains a fungicidal additive and is not paintable.

Sealants

Silirub Cleanroom

A neutral-cure silicone for cleanrooms, laboratories, industrial kitchens, food-processing spaces and other critical interiors where the project requires supporting test reports.

Sealants

Silirub AQ

An elastic silicone adhesive-sealant formulated for all-glass aquarium, terrarium and glass-construction work, with joint dimensions and curing planned before filling.

Sealants

Gasketseal

An acetoxy silicone gasket sealant for suitable metal components in engines, pumps and heating equipment. It remains elastic after cure and is rated for service temperatures up to 285°C.

Sealants

Fire Silicone B1 FR

A neutral, elastic silicone sealant for tested fire-resistant joint and penetration systems. The rating depends on the construction, joint size and backing material in the test report.

Sealants

Soudaseal FR

An elastic SMX hybrid-polymer sealant and adhesive for tested passive-fire joint systems. It combines movement capability with the performance of the complete tested assembly.

Sealants

Aquaswell

A flexible polyurethane sealant that swells in contact with water. It is used in water- and gas-tight pipe, cable and concrete-joint details that provide the required confinement.

Sealants

Calofer

A ready-to-use sodium-silicate sealing paste for high-temperature interior joints on stoves, ovens and fireplaces. It dries to a rigid, non-elastic seal with a documented temperature resistance of −40°C to +1500°C.

Sealants

Firecement HT

A hard-setting sodium-silicate paste designed for static interior joints and openings exposed to high temperatures.

Singapore conditions

Plan for the climate and the way the product will be used.

Singapore façades, wet areas and air-conditioned interiors face heat, UV, driving rain, humidity and regular temperature changes. A lasting seal needs to account for all of these, as well as movement and cleaning chemicals.

For the best result

For fire-rated and other regulated work, PFE can provide the latest supporting documents and help you check the product, materials, joint size and installation against the tested system.
