Soudaseal FR combines hybrid-polymer movement capability with use in documented passive-fire joint systems, including selected internal and external window, door, expansion and connection joints.
Published performance can reach four hours under EN 1366-4 or BS 476 Part 20 in matching tested configurations. Use the current application manual to match the joint geometry, backing, substrates and project requirements.

Confirm that the sealant, joint movement capability and evidence are suitable for the proposed joint and exposure.
Remove dust, grease, laitance, old sealant and loose coatings. Use the recommended primer or surface treatment where required.
Use a suitable backing material where required, apply a continuous bead without trapping air and tool the joint before skin formation.
Protect the joint from movement, water and contamination until it has cured sufficiently for service.
