Published performance can reach four hours in particular joint configurations. Match the required joint width, depth, backing material, substrates and orientation to the applicable fire evidence. The product is supplied as a non-paintable finish; porous natural stone needs a compatible alternative.
Preparation and application

Confirm that the sealant, joint movement capability and evidence are suitable for the proposed joint and exposure.
Remove dust, grease, laitance, old sealant and loose coatings. Use the recommended primer or surface treatment where required.
Use a suitable backing material where required, apply a continuous bead without trapping air and tool the joint before skin formation.
Protect the joint from movement, water and contamination until it has cured sufficiently for service.
